PostTrans Live : Exchequer BOM Stock Item

These functions are specific to the “Stock Edit” sheet which was developed for a specific customer. It allows the user to read in a Exchequer stock item, edit, then save or copy stock item, including the edit of the BOM items if a Bill of Materials item. It also has work wrapping on the 6 stock description lines.
This allows them to create bespoke stock items before adding to a quote using the LIVE Lookup.

Cell A1 must contain "StockUpdate"
To delete BOM items, specify 0 Qty
Note : The BOM section is cleared from columns A-Z
Exchequer Stock Edit Example
The top half for the sheet allows the edit of the stock item, yellow in the example. These fields can be customised using the “Other” tab in the “Live Lookups” section of PostTrans system setup.
In this case the BOM items are specified from row 50.
The BOM Qty can be adjusted, or items deleted by setting Qty to 0. Items can be added by simply adding a stock item in column C, with stock search dialogue.
LIVE Lookup Mappings:
The “Other Options”, under the “Live Lookups” tab specifies the mappings of the major fields needed.
These must be specified in the following order, and all are required:
StockCode, StockStaus , Desc1, Desc2, Desc3, Desc4, Desc5, Desc6, DescOverflow, StockType,StockVal, BOMStockCol, PerfSupp, CostPrice, CostPriceCur, ReOrderCostPrice, ReOrderCostPriceCur,BOMCount
