ComTek are alpha testing a new version of Master Link CRM
to interface with the superb Microsoft CRM suite of software. In addition to the normal functions of a CRM package, the
Microsoft CRM will
allow users to create quotes, invoices and orders, using a simple web user
interface, remotely via outlook, or by using PDAs (released mid 2004). The
Microsoft CRM also includes Support Contract Management, problem knowledge base module for support desk
implementations.
Although this is a new market to Microsoft, they have
increased their development team from 40 to 200 developers to further enhance
the product. Version 2, which will
be released early next year (2005), to incorporate any requests from current users for
additional features such as Marketing Campaigns, ability to store bespoke object
(Tables) and group scheduling etc.
We at ComTek, foresee that this product will take
over the mid-range to corporate CRM market place, similar to the popularity of Word and Excel

The licensing of Master Link for
Microsoft CRM is calculated as follows:
Simple Users:
The number of
users who only want to view, Exchequer Software accounting information within the Microsoft
CRM.
Advanced Users: The number of
users who will be submitting Orders/Invoices to Exchequer Enterprise, from
within the Microsoft CRM, in any 7 day period.
Therefore:

Each additional
Exchequer Enterprise Company, to use with Microsoft CRM, is 35% extra
MS CRM Service/Support contract
billing:
MS CRM Service/Support is for future development. This
additional module will allow support contracts to be set up within the Microsoft
CRM, and periodically invoiced into Exchequer Enterprise automatically. Prices to be
announced.
Please Note:
The above prices are for Master Link,
for Microsoft CRM, working with One Exchequer Enterprise Company.
Please contact us for the price implications when using with multiple
Requires one COM toolkit run-time
license for Master Link CRM Server + 1 COM run-time license for each user of Exchequer
Enterprise, purchased from Exchequer Software.
ComTek Accounts must carry out
installation.
Master Link will keep track of all users
who have submitted Orders/Invoices to Exchequer Enterprise. If the number of users
exceeds the user count, within 7-day period, then any users above the user count,
submitting Orders/Invoices, will be rejected by Master Link. Although rejected they can be processed by another user who has a license to submit
Orders/Invoices to Exchequer Enterprise .
Master
Link will be disabled, after 7 days, if this equation does not balance.
Master Link for the Microsoft CRM
does not make any direct changes to the CRM SQL database. All changes go
through the Microsoft CRM .NET API interface.
