This PostTrans spreadsheet allows the user to easily perform a complex Stock take in Exchequer Enterprise. It uses a series of tags, placed in row 1, to identify the data to be Amended by the Stock take. These tags can be easily added to a spreadsheet using the [Design] button, on the PostTrans Toolbar. The data is read from row 3 onwards, which allows you to put user descriptions in row 2. More Information on Design and Tags.

Stock Data from Exchequer Enterprise to update Stock Take

To extract Stock data press [Update Lookups], on the PostTrans Toolbar, this will allow you to add criteria to the lookup:

Here we are going to stock take all stock in location "AAA". We then press [Clear and Lookup Values] button to populate the spreadsheet with data Exchequer Enterprise Stock records.

Post Trans will then allow additional criteria, used to filter Serial/Batch or Multi-Bins records:

Here we can filter Multi-Bins starting with "XX" or a list of starting codes "XX,XX,XX"

For example this would give:

Additional stock Serial/Batch and Multi-Bins items can be added to the sheet manually.

When the Free Stock figure has been adjusted the [Post Trans] button is pressed, which posts an stock adjustment to correct stock figure.

Stock Take Required fields

To Import/Extract/Amend Exchequer Enterprise Stock Data, the following Tags/Fields must be specified:

STKTakePosted

Cell A1 must equal

STStockCode is used to detect end of spreadsheet. PostTrans will stop Importing/Amending, from row 3 onwards, when this field is empty.

Restrictions

Please note : It is up to the user to format Bin codes into correct format before posting into IRIS

Users should only edit the "STKTakeActualQty" column

Stock Take Adding Serial/Batch/Bins

Extra lines can be added to the spreadsheet to add Serial/Batch/Bins codes to stock, but the user must:

	make sure the "STKTakeQtyFree" column is zero, since PostTrans is posting anything with a difference in stock qty
	The "STStockCode" and "STLocationCode" is filled in
	Fill in appropriate column for Serial/Batch/Bin number
