Exchequer Software offers a range of products, from single user up to 100+ user client/server systems, with single currency, dual or multi-currency versions. Exchequer Enterprise's general ledger provides you with a powerful accounting tool from which you can access management information for any period or year. Your chart of accounts is set-up in a graphical tree, with folders as headings and sub-headings, making it simple to design and maintain.
This innovative design allows you to see management information at-a-glance with the ability to view monthly trends in a table or graph and then 'drill-down' into further detail, right down to the original transaction entries.

The history, in Exchequer Software, displays the monthly (or period) balances for the selected account. This can be viewed in either table or graph form. In Exchequer Enterprise you can drill-down into any accounting period to display a list of transactions simply by selecting the period in the history window, or by clicking on a point on the graph. The list of transactions could be sales, purchase or journal transactions - all of which can be displayed in their original form. From any list of transactions within Exchequer Enterprise you can select a transaction and display it in full or re-print it using Objectprint™, unique feature of Exchequer Software.
There is no limit to the number of general ledger accounts that can be individually reconciled within Exchequer Software. The cashbook reconciliation is an integral part of the general ledger. This allows you to reconcile accounts such as accruals and prepayments and other contra accounts, as well as bank accounts. An automatic bank reconciliation feature is also provided, in Exchequer Software, which has the option to download bank statements directly from your banking software (Exchequer Software interfaces with most popular bank software).
Simply by changing the period or year, in Exchequer Software, you can go back in time to view past financial performance. The ObjectClone™ option allows you to display several general ledgers on the screen at once, each can be set to a different period, year or currency. This powerful tool enables you to quickly and easily track performance visually from within Exchequer Enterprise without printing reports etc..

can set up millions of general ledger codes, in Exchequer Software, and there is
no limit to the number of levels and sub-levels you can have within your
accounting structure. In addition to this, you can optionally use cost centre
and department codes to add two more dimensions to your analysis. In fact,
in addition to the general ledger code, cost centre and department, each
transaction line has up to four further fields that can be used for analysis
purposes.
Within Exchequer Enterprise Cost centres and departments are set-up independently to the general ledger itself, making it simple to maintain yet extremely powerful. You can view any general ledger balance by cost centre, department or a combination of both at a glance, and drill-down to the originating transactions instantly for analysis purposes.

Exchequer Enterprise's report writer provides an easy-to-use, fast and flexible tool for creating your own analysis reports. The main advantage of this report writer module, in Exchequer Software, over using third-party applications is the ease and speed at which reports can be designed and run. The engine behind the report writer is accessing the database directly, rather than via an interpreting database such as ODBC (Open DataBase Connectivity), the result is unrivalled speed of report extraction.

The report writer module, in Exchequer Software, allows any number of reports to be designed, which can be grouped in a hierarchical tree. This enables reports to be grouped logically by department, type of report, or even by individual employees. A password facility enables users to be excluded from certain types of reports. As with all Exchequer Enterprise modules, the report writer takes advantage of a technology called 'multi-threading', only possible with true 32-bit applications, which allow time consuming tasks to be performed in the background. For example, when printing reports in Exchequer Enterprise you can select which reports you wish to print, enter any parameters required, and off they go. Whilst the reports are being generated you can immediately continue other work within
The report writer is fully Microsoft Windows compliant, using standard printer drivers and screen previews. ODBC was introduced by Microsoft and is still a widely used application interface, which is utilised by specialist reporting and analysis applications. The Exchequer Software ODBC Connectivity Kit, which not only provides the necessary drivers to gain ODBC read-only access to Enterprise's information rich data files, but also provides useful add-ins and utilities for applications such as Crystal Reports.

ordering; the order processing module, in Exchequer Software, has the built-in functionality to match

One
of the major benefits of Exchequer Enterprise is the dynamic link between
transactions, such as orders, deliveries, invoices and payments. The ability to
not only view the status of an order, but to then jump instantly to other
transactions linked to that order enables you to instantly answer any queries
regarding an order's status. The ObjectDrill® feature shows how easily such
information can be accessed. Orders can be processed individually or in a

Exchequer Enterprise's unrivalled interactive re-order system will make your purchase ordering extremely easy. A list displays all stock items, sorted by supplier, showing the suggested quantity required. You can either accept the suggested quantity, or manually enter a quantity against the items you wish to order. You can also temporarily override the recommended supplier. Once complete, Exchequer Enterprise will generate a purchase order for each supplier for which stock has been selected. Speed and flexibility of data entry is key. All order entry screens have been designed with the user in mind.
Among the many features of order processing, in Exchequer Software, is the powerful back-to-back order facility, which enables you to generate one or more purchase orders for the items required on a specific sales order. Due to the number of options available, a user-friendly wizard guides you through the process. One of the options is the ability to automatically allocate the goods to the original sales order once the goods have been received. This feature is a must for any company who is looking to keep stock holding to a minimum, or who orders one off items for sales orders.
